Alone Time

In today’s age of technology, we are constantly receiving messages via phone, text messages, social media, emails, Skype, etc.  Between receiving these messages, along with face to face contact with loved ones, colleagues, friends, associates, and those who demand attention like children, significant others, and employers, it can seem almost impossible to find yourself alone.
Many people are afraid of alone time.  They fear loneliness, boredom, negative thoughts, or what others may think if they are seen alone out in a public place.
There are others whose lives are so busy, and weighed down with work, raising kids, responsibilities and just day to day woes they feel like they do not have the moments to fit alone time in their schedule.  Their plates are so full and their lives are so hectic from juggling everything, that the only way it will fit in is if someone added one more hour in the day.  These are probably the people that need it the most.  It is almost impossible to keep up with that pace without finding yourself in burn out mode.  Alone time will give you the opportunity to revitalize your spirit and view things from a fresh perspective.
